Day 17: Technology

This is the camera that my soon-to-be father-in-law attaches to his helmet before he goes skydiving. It is really cool to watch the videos. Technology is forever changing; it is amazing where we've come from!

Day 16: Long Exposure

Today's photo assignment was to take a long exposure photograph. In order to accomplish such a photograph one must have a tripod and a camera with the capabilities to certain aspects turned down to their lowest settings. I don't know what our camera is capable of but I do know we don't have a tripod and you must keep the camera perfectly still in order to capture a picture such as the one below.

Day 11: Something Blue

My wedding tumbler appropriately colored blue! I can't believe I didn't think of this the other day and today's post is suppose to be eyes I decided to do a switch-a-roo (yes, now they are out of order).

Day 13: Me w/ 13 things

These are 13 things you will find in my purse.

Let me count them for you.

1. Glasses case
2. Purse holder
3. Weekly planner (life saver)
4. Checkbook pen (I took from New Song church when I was in NC for spring break...I had to bring something back with me, especially since my last New Song pen ran out of ink)
5. Mini New Testament Bible with Psalms and Proverbs (Clayton was given this in boot camp now I carry it with me)
6. Sever Sinus Headache medicine (I really hate sinus headaches)
7. Keys (Can't leave home without them. Literally)
8. Chap Stick (the original)
9. Sunglasses
10. Credit card and license wallet (from Japan)
11. Money and checkbook wallet (from Japan)
12. Notebook turned checkbook transaction register
13. I just realized I forgot to put my purse in the picture with was my thirteenth item!!! Fail! Maybe since it is Friday the 13th and this is my 13th post for this photography/blog series I can be let of the hook. Deal?

Yes. I am suppose to be in this picture as well. I tried to capture my reflection in the sunglasses but when the flash went off my reflection disappeared. I don't know how else I was suppose to be in this picture...but if you look closely you will find two pictures of me within this picture.

Day 12: Sunset

You don't get the best sunset way over here in Twin Lake and I forgot to bring my camera when we went to my parent's house tonight for dinner. I love the way the trees reflect in the water; it is so pretty.

Day 14: Eyes

When I saw the title of this blog post I automatically went "wedding," but I don't want to share anything that I will be wearing on that special day so I decided to have the 'something blue' be my eyes.

My nose sure does look big!
